• Students pursuing this award program are required to meet Texas Success Initiative (TSI) standards and course prerequisites.
• Complete at least 25% of the credit hours required for graduation through instruction by Dallas College.

This degree is designed to develop the hands-on skills and conceptual art knowledge necessary for a graduate to advance in career paths appropriate to their own interests and abilities. The program will allow students to gain skills in using industry standard equipment and software and will stress the role of motion graphics in designing and producing professional graphics for the web, animation, and video games.

#Students who select the Animation and Modeling Emphasis must take ARTV 1345 3-D Modeling and Rendering 1I in Semester 2II.

NOTE: A total of three courses must be selected from the same emphasis area.

++Elective - Art History or Studio Course must be selected from the following:

+++Social/Behavioral Science Elective - must be selected from the AAS Core Options for Social/Behavioral Science.

++++Mathematics Elective - must be selected from the AAS Core Options for Mathematics.

NOTE: Students enrolling in this program who plan to transfer to a four-year institution should consult an advisor or counselor regarding transfer requirements and the transferability of these courses to the four-year institution of their choice.
