It includes instruction and practice in writing, executing, testing and debugging C# or Visual Basic.NET programs on a personal computer using Visual Studio.NET. Topics such as forms, controls and Windows applications are covered in detail with introductory material on ASP.NET with applications and ADO.NET data access.

At this apprentice skill level, Oracle Associates have a foundation knowledge that will allow them to act as a junior team member working with database designers, administrators or application developers performing simple, operational tasks on an Oracle database with database software and graphical utilities associated with managing the database.
Prerequisite: Basic understanding of personal computers and operating systems as obtained in ITSC 1401 or BCIS 1405 or COSC 1301 as well as problem solving, logic structures, and relational database concepts as obtained in ITSE 1429, and either ITSW 1307/1407 or equivalent experience approved by designated personnel.
