Course Description: Fundamental concepts of programmable logic controllers, principles of operation, and numbering systems as applied to electrical controls. Students will identify and describe digital logic circuits and explain numbering systems; explain the operation of programmable logic controllers; convert ladder diagrams into programs; incorporate timers and counters utilizing programmable logic controllers; and execute and evaluate programs. (3 Lec., 3 Lab.)
