EMSP 2137 (1 Credit Hours)
Offered at BHC Emergency Procedures This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite Required: Admission into the Emergency Medical Services Program OR current Texas EMS Certification/license at a minimum of EMT-Basic level. Course Description: A skills-laboratory based learning experience concentrating on the practice of medical skills and application of critical thinking abilities. Topics include a variety of skills appropriate to the student’s training level. Required verifications of specific skills may be included. This course is cross-listed as EMSP 2237. The student may register for either EMSP 2137 or EMSP 2237 but may receive credit for only one of the two. This course may be repeated if topics and learning outcomes vary.
