Course Description: An introduction to welding careers and safety practice, including welding safety; OSHA and the Hazardous Communication Act; Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS); basic mathematics; measuring systems; shop operations; use and care of precision measuring tools; and the use and care of hand and power tools.
