This course builds on previously acquired knowledge and skills. Lecture and simulated laboratory experience prepares the student to perform patient care utilizing critical thinking and advanced clinical skills. Competency must be demonstrated on effective level of practice and knowledge. Skills achieved include EKG, finger sticking, physical assessment, IV's.
