Course Description: This is a course in programmable logic controllers as used in industrial environments including intermediate concepts, programming, applications, troubleshooting of ladder logic, and interfacing of equipment. The students will demonstrate an understanding of terminology; select hardware components; predict PLC operation based on ladder logic diagrams; program a PLC to perform various control functions.
