Offered at ECC Surgical Procedures II This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite Recommended: A minimum "C" grade or better in all prerequisite and previous semester support and Surgical Technology course work. Concurrent enrollment in, or a minimum "C" grade or better in HPRS 1202. Concurrent enrollment in SRGT 1541 and 1367. Course Description: Introduction to surgical pathology and its relationship to surgical procedures. Emphasis on surgical procedures related to the thoracic, peripheral vascular, plastic/reconstructive, EENT, cardiac, and neurological surgical specialties incorporating instruments, equipment, and supplies required for safe patient care.
