Offered at ECC Sonography of Abdominopelvic Pathology This is a WECM Course Number. Prerequisite Recommended: Admission to the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. Completion of all previous support and DMSO program courses. Grade of 70 or better in all previous sonography courses. Grade of 80 or better is required in practicum courses. Course Description: Pathologies and disease states of the abdomen and pelvis as related to scanning techniques, patient history and laboratory data, transducer selection, and scanning protocols. Emphasizes endocavitary sonographic anatomy and procedures including pregnancy. (2 Lec., 2 Lab.) |
